The Shuri Karate and Kobudo Preservation Society is an organization dedicated to preserving and passing on the karate and kobudo of Shuri, the birthplace of karate. Under it are its member dojos — including Shubukan Uema Dojo — as well as affiliated branches overseas.
Because Shubukan operates under this organization, the curriculum you learn on KARATE ONLINE SUI is rooted in a tradition safeguarded by the Society — connecting your daily practice to the living karate of Shuri, Okinawa.
